Delivery to addresses on islands or in remote areas may take longer than our usual delivery times.

We realise that occasionally we may try to deliver an order and nobody will be available to sign for the goods or the item may be too large to post.

Each time an attempt is made, our delivery agent will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. This card contains details for you to arrange to collect the order directly from their depot or to arrange a convenient time to deliver. The goods will only be held for a limited time. Please respond within the timescale mentioned on the card.

As all orders are currently shipped from UK you may be subject to additional import fees upon delivery.

EUROPE - Import Duties may be charged following Brexit.

USA – All orders above US$800 will be subject to import tax. For more information, please check with the US Customs and Border Protection Department for more information.

Australia – All orders above AUS$1000 will be subject to import duties. This figure can vary depending on the value of the parcel, so please check with the Department of Home Affairs for more information

New Zealand - All orders above NZD$60 will be subject to import duties. This figure can vary depending on the value of the parcel. You can get an estimate from the New Zealand Customs Service website, click here to go through.

Refusing to Pay Customs

If you choose to refuse the customs fee and the parcel is returned back to Buried Elephant, a shipping & handling fee may be deducted from your refund.
